L3 EAL Teaching Assistant/ESOL Tutor

The EAL department is dynamic and forward thinking, and eager to see pupils succeed. We wish to appoint an outstanding L3 EAL Teaching Assistant to work with pupils, families and staff to support the successful integration of International New Arrivals (INAs) and those with English as an Additional Language (EAL) into our school community, deliver lessons and provide ongoing support throughout their curriculum experience. The successful candidate will ideally have the potential to further develop our successful and highly regarded EAL department.

This role is ideal for applicants who have already achieved their L3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or equivalent) however we offer the opportunity for the required qualification to be gained in post via the Apprenticeship Levy scheme.
