Job overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a suitably experinced and proactive Lead Medical Officer (Maternity Cover) to join North Star Community Trust.


As Lead Medical Officer, you will work across all academies in the Trust leading on health and well-being initiatives for our students. Some of your tasks will involve organising NHS programmes .i.e. vaccinations, organise First Aid trainings for staff across the Trust and maintain a list of current First Aid certificates for the Trust, support the Trust's Health and Safety reporting with RIDDOR and other duties as highlighted in the job decsription.


Important for this role is an experience in a similar role within a school, ability to develop and maianatin good workign relationships, strong communication skills, resilience and a strong commitment to equality of opportunity and the safeguarding and welfare of all students.


NSCT is a Multi-Academy Trust that manages three primary academies, one large secondary academy, and one sixth form, serving approximately 2,600 children. Working at NSCT brings many additional benefits for our dedicated and valued staff, including:
