An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional teacher to join the Teaching and Learning Team at Drayton Manor High School as a Lead Practitioner. This is a new post which aims to add further capacity to the school as we continue to refine and innovate our practice. We are proud of our robust academic and pastoral ethos and are looking to take the impact of our work to even higher levels so that what Drayton Manor offers the education system continues to become ever more distinctive.
The successful candidate will be expected to lead by example in their daily practice and challenge and support those they oversee to grow and develop so that they deliver the very best learning opportunities for our students. They will prepare and oversee the implementation of improvements intended to anchor our ethos and standards ever more deeply into the life of the school, building on what has already proved successful and drawing on the experience of other schools and from what has been proven through academic research. We are looking for a practitioner who strives for excellence in all that they do and believes in our aspirational ethos. The fit and commitment towards these goals and our ethos is extremely important to us.

About Drayton Manor High School
Drayton Manor High School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in London serving students between the ages of 11-19. The secondary school, situated in Ealing as approximately 1,566 students on record.
Formerly Drayton Manor Grammar School, Drayton Manor High School was established in 1930, changing to a comprehensive status in 1975. The secondary school converted to academy status in 2012 and was identified as outstanding by Ofsted in the same year.
