The Maths Department
This is an excellent opportunity to join an impressive and experienced Maths department.
Our Maths team consists of eight highly motivated specialist practitioners. The department follows the Edexcel specification at GCSE. We also offer AQA Level 2 Further Maths for our most highly skilled young mathematicians. The curriculum is well planned and sequenced with spaced retrieval and interleaving to ensure that key mathematical skills are embedded and continually built upon.
Our curriculum is linked to careers and real-life skills to ensure that children leave Whitworth Park ready to take on the next challenge. There are opportunities to develop key aspects of Maths and the wider school for the successful candidate.
