The Exciting Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Learning and Development Administrator. You can be based at Nelson and Colne College or Accrington and Rossendale campus and be a part of the Learning and Development Team reporting to the Learning and Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the college to implement their people strategy, supporting all staff to further develop staff knowledge and skills, developing talent and succession planning, through supporting to organise CPDL opportunities for leaders, curriculum and support staff.
What You Will Be Doing:
You will assist the Learning and Development Manager providing an efficient administration support service being the central contact for staff requesting CPDL activities. You will support the Learning and Development Manager in organising college CPDL days, weeks and events. You will book CPDL activities keeping records of activities and contribute to reports and reviews. You will be using specific software to do this. Within this role it is key that you develop good relationships with SLT, Support & Curriculum Managers, staff, other key support areas across the College and external providers.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a highly motivated person to join the Learning and Development Team, who is passionate about staff development and seeing people develop in their roles.
We need someone that has experience of working in a busy administrative role and can manage and priories their workload. Excellent communication skills verbal and written are key and attention to detail with first time accuracy is paramount. Use of IT with the use of Microsoft applications to a high standard. Within this role we need someone who like to project manage events and gets satisfaction in communicating with people organising events, seeing them through to the end and evaluating how they went so they can improve the next event.
