About Us
Q.F.I. School is a Finnish international school that offers education according to Finnish curriculum in English with local adaptations including Arabic, Islamic and Qatar History. The Q.F.I. High school is the first of its kind outside Finnish borders. Education given at Q.F.I. School has been accredited both by the Qatari and Finnish authorities. The school currently consists of more than 100 staff from 20 different nationalities.
Teachers work in multi-professional teams, in which they plan and execute teaching together. There is a friendly and supporting professional environment where it is easy to challenge oneself and achieve professional growth. Working at the forefront of educational export one gets a chance to constantly define, assess and improve “the Finnish approach to education”.
The opportunity
We are looking to appoint dynamic, enthustiastic, and hardworkig Learning assistants to join our school ASAP.
The role would suit a self-driven individual who is looking to gain experience in one of the top education systems in the world. You will have oppurtunity to work with high level qualified and educated professionals and get introduced to the most successful Finnish Education Approach.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting students' learning and attending to their personal needs in order to support teaching and learning in the classroom and across the school. They will work collaboratively with other pedagogical staff to enhance the development and education of students.
This is a non-sponsored position (does not provide sponsorship related benefits and allowances) and only candidates with family sponsorship currently residing in Qatar will be considered.
This is a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year 2023-24.
About you
The ideal candidate would have previous similar experience in schools with students with special education needs.
The candidate will be self-motivated, open-minded, capable of woking independently and taking own ititiatives, as well as being a dynamic part of our team.
we are looking for professionals with friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and students.
High level of written and spoken English is a main requirement for all our positions.
