Job overview

Classroom Learning Support Assistant

Christ Church C of E Primary School is a happy, welcoming and successful primary school. We have a strong ethos that celebrates the achievements of all pupils and staff alike. We are keen to recruit a Learning Support Assistant for the hours 0800 to 1530, Tuesday and Thursday.

We require candidates who have a clear motivation for working with young children and supporting them in the classroom. We do not necessarily require you to be experienced as we are willing to provide support and training. However, you will need to be compassionate, enthusiastic, reliable and resilient. The ideal candidate should work well within a teaching team, communicate effectively and be prepared to work with varying types of challenges.

A grade A*-C O' level or 9-7 GCSE or equivalent, in core subjects is desirable.

The post is a 1 year fixed term contract, 2 days a week, term time only and will involve supporting the class teacher and the children in class. You will also be required to cover playground and lunch duties as part of your role.

Completed application forms should be returned to the school by email nlondon@ccht.rbkc.sch.uk

This position requires the post holder to hold an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure before an appointment is confirmed.
