Griffin House School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate LSA to join our team, specialising in providing support to a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). As an LSA in this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment to help the individual with ASD and PDA thrive academically socially and emotionally.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and confident and will be able to support and inspire children to foster their enthusiasm for learning. They will also have the skills and maturity required to take on the teaching assistant’s duties and responsibilities.
A degree qualification, teaching qualification or Level 3 qualification would be preferable for this role. This post would suit a graduate looking for school-based experience before furthering their career.
