About London Park School Mayfair

About London Park Schools

London Park Schools is a group of deliberately smaller senior schools right in the heart of London.  We want to offer something different, something fresh and modern; an education that is fit for the future and which emphasises the skills needed for a successful future: collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, courage, compassion and a broader, ethical sense of community.

Learning Like a Londoner:  Our Schools

There are three 11-16 offers:  LPS Clapham, LPS Mayfair and LPS Hybrid - each providing the close-knit and supportive environment of a smaller school, while benefiting from the being part of a larger, collaborative network, along with the backing and resources of the Dukes Education group.  Our three 11-16 schools feed into a shared sixth form, LPS Sixth, where students are joined by students from other schools to broaden their perspectives, deepen their studies and prepare for life beyond school.

Smaller Schools for Bigger Thinking

We may be smaller, but our thinking and ideas are big. We work closely with other members of the group to offer 'bigger' experiences, whether that's a trip to Med to study marine conservation or simply playing sport together once a week.

What makes each site special?

Each London Park School has its unique personality; from integrated learning in leafy Clapham to fully embracing the heart of London at Mayfair, the flexible approach of Hybrid or the structured independence at Sixth form.

  • LPS Clapham:  A nurturing, personal approach where each student is encouraged to explore and maximise their unique interests and talents.
  • LPS Mayfair:  A smaller school in the heart of London that helps each student maximise their individual potential, by stretching and supporting in equal measure.
  • LPS Hybrid: A unique approach to modern learning, combining four days of live on-line lessons with one day in-school.
  • LPS Sixth: More structured than a college but more independence than a school, we offer a progressive and exciting programme of London Leadership and London Pathways within a small and close-knit community.

Our LPS Values: The 4 Cs that help our students Lead with Passion for future Success.

  1. Creativity: We encourage problem-solving skills and design-thinking mindsets.  We see creativity as being one of the most important skills for future success - no matter what subject.  Art, Drama, DT, Music - but  Computing, Maths and Science and more also afford opportunities for and thinking beyond the box. These are the hunam-centric skills our students will need in a world dominated by AI.  We embrace the innovation, colour and exciting arts that London offers.
  2. Compassion: As smaller schools, our community is warm and vibrant, and kindness, care and empathy are central to our offer, ensuring that all students - and staff -  feel valued and supported, and apply these to each other.
  3. Courage: By instilling  confidence and resilience, we prepare our students to face challenges head-on and learn to overcome obstacles.  We are proud that our students are prepared to 'have a go' at whatever challenges they may face.
  4. Collaboration: Our students learn the important skills of teamwork and emotional intelligence, equipping them to for the interconnected world and the roles of the future.
