Job overview

We are seeking a Learning Support Practitioner to join our SEND team at Clayton Hall Academy in the North Staffs & Stoke Learning Community.

We are looking for someone to support our students in the classroom under the guidance of the SEND team and class teacher, addressing the needs of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning. You will provide support in literacy/numeracy and SEN strategies and may provide support in an extracurricular club or activity. 

We have a clear, whole school approach to behaviour for learning, which is adopted by all staff and supported by leaders at all levels.  We are looking for someone who is dedicated and hardworking, and someone who enjoys, even relishes, a school environment.
