The British International School, Phuket is a leading international day and boarding school (2 - 18 years) offering a quality education to the international community of the Asia/Pacific region.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Learning Support Teacher preferably with some experience in Occupational Therapy (OT) to join our dedicated team. Ideally, your experience will include working with individuals to improve their physical, sensory, and cognitive skills.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting students with additional needs, and helping them overcome challenges related to learning, sensory processing, and physical development. This position combines teaching and therapeutic approaches to create individualized support plans that enable students to thrive academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Work collaboratively with the Learning Support Team, teachers, and families to support students with additional needs.
+ Conduct assessments and implement tailored interventions and strategies to enhance student learning.
+ Develop and review Learning Support Plans in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
+ Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to foster inclusive practices.
+ Monitor the effectiveness of strategies and adjust as needed to optimise student outcomes.
+ Engage in ongoing professional development to remain at the forefront of best practices.
