Learning Support / Teaching Assistants

The John Dewey Independent Specialist College (part of Area 51 Education) provides education and training to young people with very severe, complex or profound learning disabilities. Located in Wood Green, the College has a strong philosophy of learning through doing and emphasizes a highly practical curriculum.

We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to join our team, providing excellent levels of support and guidance to learners with severe, complex and profound learning difficulties during their college day. We are looking for empathetic and adaptable individuals, who thrive under pressure and have a natural ability to solve challenges.
