Working alongside the Head of Learning Technologies, the Learning Technologist will play a key role in the delivery of all aspects of technology for learning across Leigh Academies Trust. The successful candidate will support the strategic direction of the Trust with a focus on the effective integration of technology into the classroom. This role is pivotal in the implementation and administration of the LAT Digital Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on developing and implementing the LAT Digital Strategy.
  • Integrate technology into teaching and learning practices.
  • Administer and manage digital learning platforms and tools.
  • Conduct training and professional development for staff.
  • Evaluate and recommend new educational technologies.
  • Develop and distribute digital resources.
  • Monitor the impact of technology on student outcomes and engagement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve educational technology issues.
  • Promote innovation and continuous improvement in technology use across the Trust.


This is a permanent opportunity, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and 9am - 4:30pm on Fridays with a 30-minute lunch break . This is offering a salary of £29,904 - £34,516 commensurate with experience. 

Please be aware that the successful candidate must have a valid UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle, as this position will involve traveling between local sites.

About Leigh Academies Trust

Leigh Academies Trust is one of the country’s largest and most-established multi-academy trusts operating across Kent, Medway and South East London. It contains primary, secondary and special academies and is highly inclusive and successful. We are a non-profit making charitable company, based in Strood, Medway. The Trust exists to support and assist schools to build upon their existing strengths and to help them achieve rapid educational transformation. The Trust was formed in 2008 with the linking of the Leigh Technology Academy and Longfield Academy under one governing body.
