The Birmingham College of Food, which is part of the School of Health, Sport and Food at University College Birmingham is looking to recruit a candidate with credible industry experience and demonstrable skills within Bakery/Confectionery/Patisserie, to join us as a Lecturer in Bakery; to teach across a range of subject areas at further education level.  


Essential requirements for this role include: 

Relevant teaching/training/coaching experience 

Credible experience within industry 

High level of skill in Bakery/Confectionery/Patisserie 

Qualification in a relevant discipline 

Please indicate within your application, experience within the following subject areas: 

Modern and classic skills in cake decoration (coating, piping and modelling) 

High quality confectionery and patisserie skills 

Bread and morning goods
