An exciting opportunity has arisen at Capel Manor College and we are now seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Floristry to provide high-quality teaching and learning on our Floristry courses.
Our School of Floristry offers a wide range of courses and pathways ranging from the Level 1 Foundation in Floristry through to the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Floristry. This also includes a variety of level 1 up to level 3 courses within specialist pathways associated with creative craft, floral design, event planning and planning and running an event.
We also run a number of short workshops throughout the year including a sustainable floristry workshops, floral design workshops, floral tablescape design workshops and a winter wreath and table décor workshop.
We are now looking for an experienced Florist to join the team to teach on our Floristry courses. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floristry and for teaching and sharing their experience and knowledge. They will provide high quality teaching on the College’s Floristry courses and ensure the effective learning of students being taught. This will involve preparing and delivering stimulating lessons, setting goals that stretch and challenge all students, monitoring and assessing student progress, giving feedback and consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which are expected of students.
