The Sheffield College
We are seeking to appoint well-qualified and enthusiastic individuals across all vocational areas within the college. The post involves teaching Functional Skills English and/or maths to students on a range of vocational study programmes.
The post may also involve teaching Functional Skills to apprentices. You will be expected to contribute to the development of the curriculum.
The successful candidate should hold a teaching qualification in English and/or Maths and a relevant degree. Recent post-16 teaching experience would be an advantage but newly qualified teachers with appropriate teaching practice experience will also be considered. It is also essential to have good ICT skills with the ability to develop the use of VLEs.
You will also be an effective team player, be flexible and willing to take on new teaching challenges as new opportunities arise.
