This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, highly motivated, and innovative Lecturer in Sport to contribute to the development and delivery of Sport qualifications at KGV College and Southport College.
Our varied Sports Programme includes Levels 1, 2 and 3 Sports related qualifications, as well as intermediate and advanced apprenticeships.
As a Lecturer in Sport, you will play a key role in the delivery of our Sports provision, teaching across a variety of courses from Level 1 through to Level 3. You may also assist with other courses outside of our Sports Programme, providing specialist knowledge on Anatomy and Physiology.
You will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and will need previous experience of teaching Sport. Additional experience of working with 16–19-year-olds in Sports related activities or learning is also essential. Experience of delivering A-Level Physical Education Anatomy and Physiology teaching is desirable.
Teaching hours may be at either of the College’s two sites. This is a temporary role to cover a period of sickness absence.
