Lecturer in Teacher Education
We are excited to share that we have the opportunity for a Lecturer to join our Teacher Education department. This role is a part-time (0.2) hourly paid position.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teacher education programs, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting students in their journey to becoming outstanding educators. You will engage in innovative teaching practices, provide mentorship, and assess student progress to ensure they achieve their full potential.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in teacher education, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to continuous professional development. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
To be successful you will have a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above) or willing to work towards obtaining this qualification. You will have a strong awareness of current developments in Teacher Education and be able to combine this with your ability to teach and inspire students.
