Salary: Meridian Trust Grade 4, Points 3-5 £11,387.41-£11,769.54 actual salary.

Hours: 22 hours per week, 38 weeks per year (term time only).


We have an exciting opportunity working as a member of our Teaching Assistant team at Hatton Park Primary School.  You will be part of a very friendly, supportive team working in our wonderful classrooms – you will be supporting whole class teaching, leading group interventions as well as providing one-to-one support for children with specific needs.  This will be a varied, fun and fulfilling role where you will be making a difference to the children’s learning and you will see their progress every day. Midday supervision may also be part of the role and a willingness to undergo first-aid training would be desirable.

 The ideal candidate:

  • Will possess GCSE English & Maths Grade C (4/5) or above or equivalent
  • Some experience of supporting children in Key Stages One/Two.
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
