Bertrum House Nursery is looking to appoint a motivated and passionate Early Years practitioner to join our team. We are a friendly, community focused nursery situated between Balham and Tooting Bec rated as Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. We have a well-qualified and stable team; large, bright classrooms; a hall for activities such as dance and yoga; and a huge field for outdoor learning.
We are a Natural Thinkers nursery and our outdoor learning provision is integral to our curriculum. We are outside, whatever the weather and plan for ambitious, exciting activities.
The role will be to lead teaching and learning in our term time only Pre-Reception class, working with our 3-4 year olds. We are looking for a creative teacher with an expert understanding of early child development who can support our children in their preparation for school. The hours are from 8am until 1pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday with a 4.15pm finish on a Wednesday and Thursday for planning and full staff meeting.
