We are delighted to advertise the post of Librarian in our unique and welcoming school, North Huddersfield Trust School. This is a pivotal role and the successful candidate would be at the heart of making our whole school priority of, ‘Literacy for All,’ a success.

We are looking to recruit a forward thinking and aspirational Librarian who will develop the library and create a dynamic and engaging space – a hub for literacy in the school. The successful candidate’s work will focus on developing an enthusiasm and excitement about literacy and support all students and staff to develop a lifelong passion for reading.

 

The school will offer the following to support the development of literacy:

·        A dedicated library space which is earmarked for further exciting development in the future

·        A generous budget to utilise on ensuring that stock levels remain current and exciting

·        A very supportive SLT - you will be line managed by the Assistant Headteacher in charge of Teaching and Learning

·        Flexible hours/hybrid working could be negotiated for the right candidate
