Your Role

As our Librarian, you will:

Library Management:

• Curate and maintain a diverse, inclusive collection of print and digital resources aligned with our curriculum.
• Organize and promote engaging library spaces that inspire reading, research, and collaboration.
• Oversee library technology, ensuring seamless access to digital tools for students and staff.
• Develop and implement effective library policies.

Teaching & Learning:

• Collaborate with faculty to design and deliver lessons supporting inquiry-based learning and curriculum goals.
• Teach critical skills such as research, information literacy, and digital citizenship.
• Inspire a love of reading by organizing events like book fairs, author visits, and reading challenges.
• Guide students in selecting materials to enrich their academic and personal development.
• Support our IB Students in their research.

 Collaboration & Professional Development:

• Partner with teachers to support literacy and research skill development across all grade levels.
• Stay ahead of trends in library science, educational technology, and teaching methodologies.
• Provide training and resources for staff to maximize the library's potential for learning.

What You’ll Bring

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in library systems, cataloging, and digital tools.
• Experience with inquiry-based learning frameworks (IB, American curriculum, IPC/IEYC).
• Skilled in integrating technology into teaching and library services.

Soft Skills:

• Passion for reading, literacy, and lifelong learning.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
