Life at Lockers Park

Lockers Park is a day and boarding school nestled in 23 acres of Hertfordshire woodland on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead, with neighbouring home counties and London close by. The school offers a first class education for boys aged 4 to 13.

Academia, The Arts, Music, Sport and Co-Curricular success are celebrated in equal measure at Lockers Park. Treating pupils as individuals is a central tenet of the school’s approach, which aims to build independence and resilience, helping them discover hidden talents and initiate lifelong passions along the way.

Lockers Park has been educating boys to the highest standard for 150 years, offering pupils a well-rounded education that is vibrant and progressive. The school absolutely understand the needs of boys. A kinaesthetic approach to learning reflects this with experiential teaching techniques and structured sport every day designed to engage and motivate pupils.

The school holds an exemplary record of winning awards and scholarships to leading senior schools such as Bedford School, Eton College, Harrow School, Haileybury and Rugby School to name but a few.

As a small, family orientated school, Lockers Park offers a real sense of belonging that is both peer-to-peer and cross-year. The warm, inclusive community supports pupils as they move up through the years and grow into young men. A recent Tatler Schools Guide review found that: “Lockers Park prepares boys for success in the modern world.”
