Job overview
The main responsibilities of the role are:
- To welcome pupils to our dining rooms as a key part of the pastoral team around our pupils
- To ensure pupil safety and welfare in accordance with the general instructions of SLT
- To supervise and engage with pupils predominantly in the dining rooms and occasionally further afield as directed by SLT
- To prepare the dining rooms for lunchtime by sweeping and setting up the tables
- To clean the dining rooms after lunchtime, wiping the tables and putting them away, and sweeping the floor
- To support the kitchen staff by returning trays, cutlery etc to the kitchen to be turned around during lunch service

Trevelyan Middle School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational middle school in Berkshire serving students from the age of 9-13. The middle school is situated in Windsor and has approximately 433 students on record.
Trevelyan Middle School opened in 1930, formerly known as New Windsor Council School. The secondary school converted to academy status in 2016.
