About the role
- To supervise pupils whilst eating their lunch
- To assist in clearing away and tidying the hall
- To actively engage with pupils with games and play in the playground
- To ensure pupils are safe during their time in the playground
- To manage behaviour effectively in the hall and playground during lunch
- To supervise pupils, being especially vigilant as to the health and safety, welfare and security of pupils
- To provide first aid treatment to students, staff and visitors (after appropriate training)
- To carry out task and duties as required by the line manager appropriate to the grading of the post.

Eastfield is a single form primary school with nursery provision. The school provides a continuous knowledge based learning journey for children from two to eleven years old and responds to developing and changing needs as pupils move through the school.
As a result of our high expectations, our children make good progress from their starting points and achieve well both academically, socially and emotionally. Leaving our school fully prepared for their next steps in education and life.
We deliver a curriculum based on important substantive and disciplinary knowledge in literacy, numeracy and technology, to provide the secure foundation for learning in a wide range of situations, whilst also developing children’s creative thinking. - Experience of cleaning duties
- Ability to work as part of a team of LTS and independently
- Initiate games and activities appropriate to the age of the children
