We are seeking an experienced Mathematics Teacher to teach students from Middle School through to the IB Diploma Programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and innovative educator to join our school in August 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to Middle School and IB DP students, following relevant curriculum standards.
  • Deliver engaging lessons that develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, challenging high-achievers and supporting those needing additional help.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.
  • Integrate technology to enhance learning and support mathematical modeling and simulations.
  • Contribute to extra-curricular programs, such as mathematics clubs and competitions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and share best practices.
  • Mentor students in their academic, personal, and social development.
  • Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates and address concerns.
  • Ensure teaching and assessments are aligned with IB standards and inquiry-based learning.


The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A university degree in Mathematics or a related subject, with a recognized teaching qualification.
  • 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in international or IB schools, with experience teaching Middle School and IB DP Mathematics (MYP, HL/SL).
  • Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum, especially in higher-level topics like calculus and algebra.
  • Proven ability to create a positive learning environment for students at various levels.
  • Proficiency in technology integration to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluency in English (basic French is an advantage).
  • A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and contributing to curriculum development.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
  • Commitment to professional development and passion for inspiring a love of mathematics.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • A willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities and school life.
