Break Through School is an independent alternative school for children and young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD and associated learning and communication difficulties. It is part of Melrose Education limited.
We are looking for a strong Mathematics Teacher with a proven track record of teaching learners with additional needs and experience of preparing them for a range of qualifications. You must be able to demonstrate good organisational skills and have the ability to focus upon the progress through appropriate assessment recording. Excellent personable skills and behaviour management would be required to fulfil this role and maximise learner outcomes.
Previous experience of SEND would be an advantage.
You will be working with learners who are enthusiastic and keen to learn and a dedicated and supportive staff team. This is a very unique setting, and we would strongly encourage applicants to visit.
