Maths Teacher
MPS
The Heath School is excited to be able to offer a fantastic opportunity to a teacher of Maths to join us at our school, that sits in the heart of the community of Runcorn. Our school has been an extremely popular choice for students and parent/carers for many, many years. We are oversubscribed with over 1200 students on roll. Outcomes have been extremely positive, and students have moved on to achieve their aspirations. However, we do not pride ourselves only on our academic performance but on our student-centred approach and the range of opportunities we provide our students through our curriculum and through our extra-curricular offer. That is The Heath Standard.
We care for our staff, as we care for our students, their health and wellbeing is paramount as we understand the pivotal role our staff play in the development of our school and its students. Our staff work incredibly hard but equally, we work hard to ensure their work is as effective as possible.
There are no expectations regarding experience and the successful candidate would be a well organised, vibrant, innovative practitioner who has in depth curriculum knowledge. We have ten staff who make up the maths team, who range in experience, including our Subject Leader of Maths and another TLR holder, who provide superb support to their leader and their peers. Our facilities are excellent and our students love to learn. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop personally and further raise standards across the department.
