We are seeking to appoint a qualified teacher of media studies for key stage 4 to key stage 5. We are on a journey to embed powerful knowledge, curriculum rigour and expert teaching practice across all subjects – leading to outstanding outcomes for students.

King Solomon High School is a unique and wonderful Jewish secondary school set in the London Borough of Redbridge. Our school is inclusive, and our students and staff come from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds.

  • Are you a media studies teacher with QTS?
  • Are you passionate about raising standards in secondary schools?
  • Are you committed to excellence and rigour, to provide a world class educational experience?
  • Do you have drive, vision and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of children?
  • Can you hold yourself and others to high standards?
  • Are you well read and well informed about educational research and best practice in teaching and learning?

If your answer is yes to all of these questions then you might have found the perfect role and be the right person to join the school’s newly appointed Headteacher, in leading this school out of Requires Improvement.

The school is currently going through a period of rapid change and improvement. The new Headteacher is recruiting new staff to transform all aspects of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to lead real and meaningful change, lead innovation and be part of a great success story.

The newly appointed Headteacher is ambitious for the school’s future, strives for excellence and has high expectations of staff and students.

We will interview suitable candidates as and when we receive applications. We therefore reserve the right to close applications at any point. Candidates interested in the role should apply as soon as possible.
