Job overview

Kensington Prep School is looking for a Midday Assistant to supervise students and assist with all aspects of pupil care during lunchtime.

Working directly with our students, you will help serve food during the lunch service, maintaining an awareness of allergies, intolerances and dietary choices. You will also lead on post-lunch play activities, maintaining good order and discipline whilst also encouraging good social skills in our students.

We are looking for an approachable and enthusiastic individual, who can demonstrate the confidence to lead activities and communicate effectively with young people (aged 4 to 11). You must also be able to work confidently on your own initiative and be a strong team player.

About Kensington Prep School

Kensington Prep School is a buzzy Independent Day School for girls aged 4-11.  It opened in 1873, the first school to be established in the Girl’s Day School Trust.  The school moved to Fulham in 1997 and is set in spacious grounds with netball and tennis courts and pond for environmental studies.  There are fantastic dedicated facilities for music, drama, IT, science, art and design.
