Job overview

Knavesmire Primary School is seeking to recruit a dedicated and caring Midday Supervisory Assistant to work as part of our lunchtime team in our busy school. The successful applicant will join our experienced and hardworking team, supervising our happy and friendly children and creating play opportunities for them.

Qualifications are not essential, although experience of working with children would be beneficial. What is more important is your ability to establish rapport and respectful relationships with children and to work effectively as part of our team to ensure that our children are safe and supervised over their lunch break.

This is a term time only, part time role for 6.25 hours per week (11.55am to 1.10pm, Monday to Friday).

Knavesmire is a popular and successful school rooted in its community close to the heart of the historic city of York. In addition, the Trust offers a range of staff benefits, including enrolment in the excellent Local Government Pension Scheme, 24/7 access to an employee assistance programme and a range of family friendly policies.
