Middle School Math Teacher

The role of teachers is to guide student learning through varied, collaborative, and holistic approaches focused on formative and constructivist learning processes.

Essential Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in the field of Mathematics or a closely related field (Engineering/Economics) plus a recognized teaching qualification
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to connect with the students, parents and staff forming positive relationships;
• Capacity and experience in developing and assisting in writing (and ensuring its maintenance) of Schemes of Work,
• Ability to work independently but also be a sharing team player,
• Experience and capacity to tutor/supervise Maths as well as offer structured scaffolded support lessons
• Being able to design and maintain intervention sessions to support underachieving students,
• Willingness and capacity to organize and invest in extra-curricular activities as part of the whole-school effort
