We are seeking an inspiring and talented Music Teacher, to be part of our vibrant Music Department at Truro School. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with our experienced and skilled Music team to teach music across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 to our talented and enthusiastic students.
The successful candidate will be joining a strong team of musicians and will themselves be an innovative classroom practitioner and be proactive in keeping up to date with recent educational trends. They will contribute to the development of bespoke departmental teaching and learning resources to support lessons for all ages and show an active interest in the development of pupils’ knowledge, skills and enthusiasm within and beyond the classroom. While we have a close relationship with Truro Cathedral with our chorister programme we also encourage a broad range of musical genres and events throughout the calendar year, and we are therefore looking for candidates who are interested in all types of music.
As well as a genuine passion for excellence in academic and pastoral care, and inspired by our School’s ethos, the candidate will be expected to play a full part in supporting and shaping the Music Department’s extensive co-curricular provision, including concerts, practices, clubs and competitions.
