Dubai British Foundation is a thriving British Early Years international school, located in the Jumeirah Islands area of Dubai. A Taaleem school, DBF caters to many different nationalities, and celebrates the diversity of our student body. DBF delivers a high quality Early Years provision with confidence and pride, that perfectly suit the needs of children from three to five years of age. Immersed in a language-rich environment with a special focus upon singing to promote effective language acquisition, our students make rapid progress and end FS2 extremely well prepared for the transition into Year One.
Our Curriculum
The curriculum at DBF is modelled on, follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which focuses on 7 key areas of learning. Our students learning is frequently developed through play-based activities centered around a range of child-friendly topic or themes. We believe that cultural awareness and true internationalism are vital for todays children to aid development of effective communication tools. At DBF our language of instruction is English, plus exposure to Arabic. An important school aim is to encourage children to enjoy and appreciate a variety of languages from an early age.
Who are we?
As a Taaleem teacher you will join one of the largest, most respected education providers in the United Arab Emirates. Taaleem (which means education in Arabic) was established in 2004 and now has 9,000 students attending our 11 international schools and pre-schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Taaleem is also one of the Middle Easts leading IB workshop providers for PYP, MYP, DP and IBCP. We began training in 2009 and have enrolled over 3500 participants to date.

What do we look for?
Due to KHDA regulations, we can only employ individuals who hold the following:
- Bachelors of Education, or equivalent in Music, and a minimum of two years' or more qualified teaching experience
Aside from the experience, personality is very important, we look for inspirational teachers who leave a lasting impression on students for years to follow.
