Cumnor House Sussex is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our vibrant team.

Role: Nursery Assistant, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm full year.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Support daily activities and routines within the nursery.
  • Collaborate with the team to create engaging learning experiences.

Desirable Personal Qualities and Experience Role:

  • DfE approved childcare qualifications for practice at Level 3 or above such as QTS or DfE approved childcare qualifications for practice at Minimum of Level 2 childcare qualification such as; NVQ Level 2, pre-school diploma or NNEB.
  • A good working knowledge of current legislation and monitoring requirements under the EYFS
  • Experience of working with preschool children aged 2 to school age
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dance or yoga skills would be a great additional benefit
