Do you have an eye for detail, a love of processes, data entry and spreadsheets, and a passion for organisation? If so, you may be the perfect fit for this role and we encourage you to apply!

This role is mainly about keeping the School's finance admin in check. You'll process purchase invoices, help with supplier payruns, and support with preparing monthly and annual financial returns. You’ll keep budget records up to date and assist with billing. Other tasks include reconciling credit card statements, posting month-end journals and handling petty cash. It’s a dynamic role with plenty of variety to keep things interesting!

You do not need any prior knowledge about finance to excel in this position, but you do need to be fairly good with numbers and a stickler for accuracy. You’ll also need to be logical, methodical and efficient to carry out this role well.

As an aside, if you do wish to develop your finance knowledge as part of your own CPD, the School will fully support you in embarking on an AAT Level 2 Accounts or Finance Assistant apprenticeship once you are established in the role.

For a detailed outline of the role, please see the full Job Description and Person Specification.

Closing date for Applications: Midnight, Monday 11 November 2024

Interviews to be held week commencing: 18 November 2024
