We are looking for an Office Assistant to join our team as a main Office Administrator and Receptionist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective administrative support to the Main Office and ensuring a high-quality reception service for all academy users and visitors. As part of this role you will be expected to :
- Use the parent communication system to send emails and texts to relay general information, such as newsletters, and prepare spreadsheets for mail merge documents.
- Assist in the management of administration and student archived documents and liaise with partner academies and other external institutions.
- Maintain stationery supplies and complete stationery orders when required for the Main Office.
- Work with the SLT link to co-ordinate and maintain the academy calendar, attend SLT Calendar Planning Meetings and update as required during the academic year, and manage bookings for the Meeting Room and update on Google calendar.
Maltings is a 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a purpose-built building that was constructed in 2011. There are excellent transport links to London which enables our staff and young people to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that London provides. Free car parking facilities are available on site.
