The Role: 

The school is looking to appoint a full time enthusiastic and committed Operations Manager who will be responsible for managing the strategy and operation of the business functions of our school, including health and safety, human resources, administration, compliance and also have responsibility for overseeing the grounds and building maintenance of the school buildings - in conjunction with our PFI management partners. They will advise on and implement the day-to-day support that enables the school to operate effectively and efficiently, that allows the leadership team to focus on teaching and learning, and that enables us to achieve our strategic vision.

The Operations Manager will promote the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and ensure the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s performance objectives and development priorities. The Operations Manager will also take a strategic role in leading and inspiring non-teaching employees of the school’s staff. We are looking for a dynamic person with prior Operations Management ideally in a school setting. 


The ideal candidate:

You will need to have experience in producing reports and communicating to key stakeholders with experience in the understanding of organisational procedures and relevant current legislation. We would also be excited to hear from colleagues interested in using this role as excellent preparation for a career in School Business Management, in the future.
