Job overview

We are looking for an Operations Manager - Essex Hub (currently Limebrook Primary School and Nursery, Leigh Beck Junior School, and Maple Grove Primary) who is looking to join our motivated and committed team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who will bring organisation and commitment to this role, ensuring all duties are completed to the highest standard.

 

Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for undertaking:

 

  • The OM is responsible for ensuring all non‐teaching aspects of the schools run efficiently and effectively.
  • The operational management of multiple schools within the Trust, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
  •  Lead and manage the facilities team to ensure all buildings and grounds are safe, well-maintained, and conducive to learning.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
  • Manage procurement processes to achieve value for money and quality outcomes.
  •  Work with finance teams to oversee budgeting, financial planning, and expenditure control.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to support the Trust’s strategic goals.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, students, parents, and external partners.

About Maple Grove Primary School

Maple Grove Primary School caters for boys and girls aged between four and 11. It is a state primary situated in Pitsea, near Basildon in Essex. It is currently undergoing a public consultation on a proposed change to make the school an academy, run by the Lion Education Trust.
