Salary: Scale PO5 (39-42) £51,099 - £54,135 per annum AYR

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8.00 am - 4:00 pm

We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the effective delivery of our PFI contract through our on-site premises team. This role supports the Director of Finance and Resources, leads on Health and Safety issues, and conducts risk assessments. Responsibilities include managing the relationship with G4S, ensuring the smooth operation and security of the school site, coordinating with contractors, maintaining asset records, and handling emergencies.

The role also involves acting as the School’s Emergency Planning Officer and Safety Officer, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, and leading Health and Safety inspections.

The ideal candidate will have experience in team leadership, knowledge of administrative management practices, and excellent communication skills. A background in a school environment and familiarity with Health and Safety issues in large organisations are desirable.

Strong ICT skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to professional development are essential.
