Job overview
We operate a successful before and after school club, which runs daily during term time between 3.15 - 6pm for children attending Dulverton Primary School . We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, patient and hardworking After School Club Assistants to join our friendly After School Club team. The vacancy is for 10.5 hours per week Monday 3pm - 5.45pm, Wednesday 3pm - 5.45pm & Thursday 2.45pm - 5.45pm.
There is some flexibility in the advertised hours, so please still apply if you are interested in the role.
The club assistant will ensure the safety, general welfare and positive behaviour of pupils attending the club. We are looking for someone who is creative, can work using their own initiative and above all enjoys working with children.
Duties will include:
• Ensuring the provision offers a safe and stimulating environment.
• Assisting with the planning, preparing and delivery of activities, appropriate to the age of the children.
• Preparing and serving tea time snacks for the children.
• Maintain the club setting to an agreed standard of cleanliness and hygiene, before, during and at the end of each session.
You will be expected to attend training courses to develop your role.
