Our Curriculum
The curriculum at DBS is modelled on the National Curriculum for England, significantly enhanced by Wow Learning, the study of Arabic throughout and a challenging set of GCSE and GCE A Level courses from Year 10 to Year 13. The opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are just as important as the main curriculum and we offer an extensive and varied extra-curricular activities programme (ECA).
The Role
DBS EH is looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Outstanding Primary Supply Teachers for support throughout the academic year. Our teachers are always experienced in teaching the National Curriculum for England either in the UK or in an international setting. Aside from the experience, personality is very important, we look for inspirational teachers who leave a lasting impression on students for years to follow. If you're able to demonstrate outstanding standards of teaching and learning, with a passionate, enthusiastic, creative and dynamic attitude then we want to hear from you!
Person Specification:
Due to KHDA regulations, we can only employ individuals with QTS and a degree in the specialist subject that you teach.
· High Quality Degree (2:1 and above).
· PGCE, PGDE and/or QTS, or Bachelors of Education (B.Ed.).
· Minimum 2 years’ experience of teaching the British Curriculum.
· An individual with confidence and a proven track record of outstanding results as a leading subject teacher.
Dubai British School Emirates Hills is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its students. A UK International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC) or equivalent enhanced police check is a pre-requisite for all appointments.
What we offer:
This position is offered as a Supply (temporary) Contract therefore applicants are required to have a valid UAE Residence visa, the school will not sponsor you for UAE residency purposes.
