Bryanston currently has a superb opportunity for a highly organised and hard-working person to support the Senior Deputy Head and Academic Deputy Head across a wide range of activities. This pivotal and varied role is crucial to the smooth running of the Deputy Heads’ Office and will manage correspondence, appointments, and diary commitments. You will have a unique insight into the central workings of the School and your constant communication with people across every aspect of the organisation will demand a high degree of emotional intelligence, interpersonal skill and a proven ability to act with diplomacy, tact and discretion.

The successful candidate is likely to have a proven track record as a PA with experience of dealing with, and thriving on, multiple priorities in a busy and demanding environment. With exceptional English, both written and spoken, you will also be able to demonstrate a high level of computer literacy, an analytical approach to problem-solving and the self-confidence to work independently. A high level of initiative and the ability to work at pace are essential.

This is a full-time, term-time ‘plus’ position, which may require flexibility for occasional evening and weekend working.

Bryanston School is an independent boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18 near Blandford Forum in Dorset. Founded in 1928, the school aims above all to develop the all-round talents of individual pupils. A broad, flexible academic and co-curricular programme is offered and each pupil benefits from considerable one-to-one help and guidance from a personal tutor, subject teachers and house parents. Bryanston aims to combine the best of the new and the old, as befits the school motto et nova et vetera.
