Job overview

The Samworth Church Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced Student Mentor. The postholder will be primarily responsible for managing a caseload of students referred by the the Academy's Safeguarding team. The focus of this support will be to enable the students to overcome the barriers that may prevent them becoming the best they can be.

The Samworth Church Academy opened in September 2008 and enjoys 21st century facilities, highly motivated and professionally developed staffing.

Applicants should be educated to GCSE English and Maths to Grade C (Grade 4) or above. This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic and committed team in our academy.

This role is Fixed Term for 2 years, 17.5 hours per week term time only.

Salary for the position is £10,038-£10,380 Actual (FTE £24,702-£25,545)
