Our independent special school based in Westbury is looking for a part-time Science Teacher to cover long term sickness absence. The school offers small group and individualised learning for secondary age pupils with a focus on social and emotional development. It was rated Good by Ofsted at its last inspection. This is an opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of children who can be educationally overlooked.

A Qualified Teacher is preferred but consideration will be given to education professionals with other teaching qualifications who have experience of teaching Science. You must have experience of working with young people in an SEN environment and be passionate about the social and emotional wellbeing of children. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the pupils is essential.

Full-time equivalent salary is £24,420 - £39,300 per annum dependent on qualifications and experience. This will be pro rata for part-time hours. Company benefits include retail discounts, online GP, employee wellbeing programmes, pension scheme, eye tests.
