Are you a dedicated SENDCo with a heart for making a profound impact on the lives

of children with special educational needs? If so, this is an exciting opportunity for an

experienced SENDCo to join our dynamic and supportive team at Oasis Academy

Putney. You will be able to inspire, enthuse, engage, motivate and challenge

students to raise achievement at all levels.

About us

Oasis Academy Putney is for students aged four to eleven. The academy forms part of Oasis

Community learning which a multi–academy sponsor is growing extensively across the UK.

You will:

people

• Be willing to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS check

• Be motivated to work with children and young people

boundaries with children and young people

• Foster excellent working relationships with colleagues and families

About the role

• Create tailored learning plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each

student.

• Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes growth, selfconfidence, and emotional well-being.

• Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure

the best possible support for each student.

• Embrace continuous professional development and stay up to date with the trends

and methodologies in SEND education.

• Keeping accurate records and liaising with other key professionals.

• Actively support the Leadership Team and staff in the promotion and achievement of

the aims and objectives of the academy.

• Work as part of the Oasis Putney team and champion our ethos.
