The Governors of Saint John Henry Newman Catholic College are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate individual to the role of Pastoral Coordinator with responsibilities in the IEC. This role will require the successful candidate to work 50% of the role with a year group as a pastoral coordinator and the other 50% of the role will require the successful candidate to lead and provide provision in the Internal Exclusion Centre (IEC).
Within this role you will share with teachers and other colleagues the responsibility to address the needs of pupils who need support to overcome barriers to learning to raise their aspirations and achieve their full potential.

Saint John Henry Newman Catholic College is a Catholic Secondary School located in Chadderton, Greater Manchester. It falls under the Diocese of Salford.
The school was formed in 2011 from the amalgamation of St Augustine of Canterbury RC High School in Werneth, Oldham and Our Lady’s RC High School in Royton. The merged school was originally based over the two former school sites, but moved to a new building.
