Hours/Contract: Full time (35 hours per week), Term time plus 3 weeks (42 weeks per year) – 0.91FTE (full time equivalent) fixed term maternity cover until 29.01.2026 or the return of the substantive post holder, whichever is sooner

Salary: SFCA Salary Scale points 7-10 (£23,585 – £25,276 per annum (pro rata amount: £21,345 – £22,876 per annum)

Start date: 22nd January 2025

Closing date: 6th January 2025

Purpose of the role:

This ‘outstanding’ Sixth Form College, based in Manchester, is looking to appoint a Pastoral Support Officer, to join our Pastoral team. Providing full administrative and secretarial support to the Divisional Lead (Pastoral), Heads of Year and Pastoral Managers, the successful candidate will be highly organised, a good communicator and able to maintain accurate records. Experience of working in an educational setting is essential.
