We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised Pastoral Support Officer to join our pastoral team.

King Solomon High School is a unique and wonderful Jewish secondary school, set in the London Borough of Redbridge. Our school is inclusive, and our students and staff come from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds.

The Pastoral Support Officer is responsible for

  • Supporting Heads of Year in the smooth running of year groups.
  • Carrying out uniform checks each morning.
  • Supporting the morning line up processes.
  • Addressing student behaviour issues.
  • Mentoring a caseload of students who need behaviour support.
  • Contributing to the corridor monitoring and on-call process.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the school at lunch time.
  • Support the school’s attendance systems.


The school is currently going through a period of embedding change and improvement. The Headteacher is recruiting new staff to transform all aspects of the school. This is an exciting opportunity to lead real and meaningful change, lead innovation and be part of a great success story.
