Little Heath School is a secondary special school for pupils aged 11-19 with learning difficulties and complex needs (over 50% are on the autistic spectrum). We are located in the London Borough of Redbridge. We are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Pathway Leader who passionately believes, as we do, that every child has the right to maximise their potential, irrespective of their starting point in life. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hardworking, caring, friendly and committed group of specialist educators. LHS prioritises students in all its decisions and ensures a safe and caring environment.
We are set in a large green, environmentally friendly location with plenty of opportunities for outdoor play and learning. The school is well connected to public transport and is 10 minutes bus ride from the Newbury Park (Central line) tube station.
The successful candidates will have responsibility for leading and managing a department of teaching and non-teaching staff and will be responsible for creating and cultivating a self-sustaining and confident team.
